Children’s Accident Aid Initiative
The German Children's Accident Relief Association (Aktion Kinderunfallhilfe e.V.) actively works to prevent traffic accidents involving children. Roos Vehicle Logistics GmbH is a supporting member and actively implements projects aimed at improving children's road safety – for example, through the distribution of high-visibility vests and public awareness campaigns.
Regional Support Fund
Every year, we donate a five-figure sum to various locations. Near our sites, we have established regional development funds to specifically support local projects in the areas of social welfare, youth sports, children's and youth education, and charitable initiatives. Our focus here is on promoting the well-being of children and young people and preventing accidents.
Rewetting of the riparian forest
Economy and nature are not always contradictory. Sometimes they form a beneficial symbiosis. At the Faulbach site, rainwater cannot seep into the ground because the area is filled in. The excess rainwater is collected and channeled through an earthen basin into a riparian forest. The moisture allows the pristine nature of the riparian forest to regenerate, thus providing habitat for numerous protected areas and plants.
CO2 offsetting
Roos Vehicle Logistics operates its sites with a net-zero carbon footprint. Active efforts are made to minimize CO2 emissions. Any remaining unavoidable emissions are offset through certified projects in partnership with Volkswagen Kraftwerk GmbH.
Support for youth sports
We support various youth sports projects. Respect and fairness are virtues that our commitment also aims to promote.
